Full Coverage: Protects both the radiator and expensive plastic fairings — the most vulnerable and costly parts to replace after a crash.
Frame-Mounted Strength: Bars bolt directly to the frame, not the engine case, for a solid connection that holds up in hard impacts.
Heavy-Duty Construction: Hand-TIG welded 1 inch stainless steel tubing and 3/16 inch thick mounting brackets create one of the strongest crash bar systems available.
Easy Servicing: PEM captive nuts let you remove the bars quickly without losing hardware, so routine maintenance stays simple.
System Compatible: Works together with the Lower and Reinforcement Crash Bars to form a complete three-part protection system.
Quick Install: Designed to go on easily with included Loctite and first class manual

The Upper Crash Bars protect your Africa Twin's radiator and plastic fairings — the components most expensive to replace after a tip-over or trail impact. They mount directly to the frame and front sub-frame, not the engine case, which is a fundamentally stronger connection than most competing designs offer.

Hand-TIG welded stainless steel tubing, the bars are CNC mandrel-formed for maximum strength and precise fitment around critical controls like the rear brake lever. Rear mounting flanges route crash energy into the lower frame instead of the engine, while thick stainless steel front brackets bolt directly to the frame for a solid, non-flexing connection.

The lower bars use larger 1.25 inch tubing, and once the full system is assembled, the difference in strength over single-bar designs is clear.

Compatible with both DCT and manual models, the bars work with the OEM center stand and factory belly pan.

An optional integrated headlight guard is also available in steel mesh or clear polycarbonate to help protect one of the bike’s most expensive components when riding far from home. Available individually or as part of the Full System.
