AltRider side stand enlarger feet bolt onto the existing stand and spread the load over more surface area, stopping the stand from sinking on mixed terrain. Stock side stands are designed for flat pavement. On gravel, soft soil, or uneven ground, the small foot sinks and the bike falls.
Fully adjustable aluminum replacement stands are available for Honda, KTM, Husqvarna, GasGas, Aprilia, Yamaha, and BMW models. The uprated return spring for the Yamaha Ténéré 700 runs at double the OEM spring rate to prevent the stand from dropping unexpectedly mid-ride.
