The Africa Twin's stock seat height stops a lot of riders before the trail does. This linkage gives you real control over that. Swap the inserts, rotate them, and you have four distinct height positions — drop down for technical sections where footing matters, come back up when you want clearance and speed.
The integrated UHMW link guard is what separates this from a simple lowering link. It sits between the linkage and the ground, flexing on impact rather than cracking, so rocks and roots glide past instead of hammering the rear shock bearing. Look under the bike once and you'll understand why that matters.
Height settings are laser-etched on the inserts, and each insert mounts two ways. There is no ambiguity during installation. Two holes, two orientations, four heights — done.
