The DesertX fender is positioned low from the factory. Appart of the estetics and more agressive look, in serious off-road conditions, mud and debris pack between the fender and tire until the wheel jams. This kit solves that by moving the fender to a high mount position.
The billet aluminum bracket and quill attach to the steering column with an M10 bolt — solid and rattle-free. The fork leg guards are laser cut from 2 mm aluminum, mount at three points per side, and are designed specifically for the DesertX OEM mount points. They include correct coverage for the ABS sensor and built-in brake hose routing clips. No cutting or drilling required.
The braided stainless steel brake lines are custom built for this application — DOT-approved, UV-resistant PVC coated, and fitted with strain reliefs. All fittings and routing grommets are included.
