• Mud Prevention – Raising the fender to a high mount position keeps mud and debris from jamming against the front wheel during serious off-road riding.
• Strong Bracket – The fender attaches to the steering column via a billet aluminum bracket and quill secured with a large M10 bolt — built to handle rough terrain.
• Better Fork Protection – Custom laser-cut aluminum fork leg guards mount at three points and include correct coverage for the ABS sensor, something most aftermarket guards miss.
• Integrated Hose Routing – The fork leg guards include built-in brake hose routing clips, keeping lines tidy and protected without extra hardware.
• DOT-Approved Brake Lines – The dual-sided braided stainless steel brake line kit is street legal and DOT-approved, with UV-resistant PVC coating and built-in strain reliefs for long-term durability.
• No Cutting Required – All guards mount directly to OEM mounting points straight out of the box — no drilling or modification needed.
• Tire Clearance Option – An optional spacer is included to maintain safe fender clearance if you run larger off-road tires.

The DesertX is an extraordinarily capable adventure bike, our fender kit removes the limits on where and how you can ride. Due to the wide range of off-road tire sizes, an optional spacer has been provided if the fender gets close to the front tire during full compression. Available in red, black or white, with plastic fender and powder-coated aluminum fork leg guards. Due to difference in materials the plastic fender and aluminum fork guards are not a 100% color match, see photos. AltRider Fork Leg Decal also available seperately.
