If you run a GS Adventure and want to add the AltRider rear luggage rack, these brackets are the missing link. The GS Adventure comes with its own OEM stainless rack from the factory. Without these brackets, the AltRider rack has no way to attach to it. With them, the rack bolts straight down onto the OEM structure for a solid, rattle-free mount.

The brackets are also available as a kit bundled with the luggage rack if you need both at once.

One detail worth noting: if you only want the AltRider rack in the low position, you do not need these brackets. A separate solution exists for that configuration.
