The R 1250 GS is a heavy bike. On technical trails or remote roads, a tip-over is not a question of if — it is a question of when. Upper fairings and the radiator are expensive and vulnerable. These upper crash bars are built to take that hit instead.

The bars mount to the AltRider lower crash bars for the R 1250 GS using a welded stainless steel clamp system. A third mounting point under the front beak adds rigidity so the bars hold position even under hard impact. This three-point setup keeps the protection exactly where it needs to be.

Available in shot peen satin, powdercoat black, white, and blue. These upper bars require the AltRider lower crash bars for the R 1250 GS — they do not mount directly to the frame.
