This is a direct replacement for the integrated linkage guard on the AltRider Variable Height Suspension Lowering Linkage for KTM, Husqvarna, and GASGAS dirt bikes. It fits AltRider part numbers KT16-6-2202 and KT23-6-2202.
The guard uses 6 mm HDPE instead of aluminum by design. HDPE absorbs impact energy rather than transferring it to the lower shock mount. The smooth plastic edges also resist snagging on rocks and roots — something aluminum guards can do at the worst possible moment.
Three flush-mounted M6 fasteners hold it in place. Remove them and the guard comes off cleanly when you need to inspect or service the linkage.
