AltRider has direct roots in dirt riding. That experience shaped both guards. The front guard mounts to the 22mm axle using a thick hub mount — not to caliper bolts or aluminum axle screws, which are not built to absorb impacts. Coverage focuses on the leading edge, front face, and bottom of the rotor, where rocks actually strike. The hub mount design also keeps the wheel bearing seal intact.

The rear guard replaces the stock brake hanger entirely. The OEM hanger was not designed for trail impacts. This one is. It anchors directly to the rear axle and fits OEM and Braketec calipers precisely.

Both guards are CNC machined. Combined weight is 1.7 lbs. A single replacement rotor costs more than this set.
